Call of Duty: Warzone Streamer Nickmercs Reveals Best New Season 4 Weapon

Twitch star Nicholas 'Nickmercs' Kolcheff is one of the most highly-regarded voices in the Call of Duty: Warzone community. For the most part, Nickmercs solely streams Warzone on Twitch which means that he's always trying out new weapons, loadouts, and other gear to see what might be best in the battle royale shooter at any given moment. And when it comes to this current fourth season of Warzone, Nickmercs has now revealed which loadout he's currently rocking in the game.

One of the newer guns that has made its way into Call of Duty: Warzone is that of the OTs 9. This weapon is an SMG and since it is new, Nickmercs has been putting in a lot of time with the gun lately to see how it operates. After a long period of using the OTs 9 consistently, Nickmercs has found himself falling in love with it due to how quickly it can fire while still having minimal recoil.

Of course, to perfectly take advantage of any weapon in Warzone, you'll have to optimize it with the attachments you use. For Nickmercs, he believes that he has found the best setup for the OTs 9 if you want to really melt foes within Verdanks. The attachments you'll want to equip include a Sound Suppressor muzzle, 8.1" Task Force barrel, KGB Skeletal Stock, Bruiser Grip underbarrel, and then use Spetsnaz 40 Round ammunition. By no means is this the only list of attachments that you can use with the OTs 9, but it's the one that Nickmercs has found the most success with.

Even if you're not the best at Warzone, if you give this specific weapon a whirl in the game with all of the attachments that Nickmercs has suggested, there's a decent chance that you'll find some success. After all, given how often Nickmercs plays Call of Duty: Warzone, he definitely knows what he's talking about whenever he makes a new recommendation of this sort.

Are you going to give the OTs 9 a shot for yourself if you haven't already been using it? Let me know either down in the comments or hit me up on Twitter at @MooreMan12.

Nickmercs Warzone Loadouts

Nickmercs is one of the most talented Call of Duty players out there. A lot of players would love to achieve anything close to the results that Nickmercs manages. While most of this is down to talent, you can pay attention to how he uses the game. Looking at the settings of pros like Nickmercs can help you see how you can improve your chances within the game. Nickmercs Warzone loadout can also help you with this. His loadout is a really well-built combination of tools that perfectly compliment his play style.

This is Nickmercs Call of Duty loadout for the M4A1. The M4A1 is top of its class for an Assault Rifle. There many different loadouts you can use with it that play to a different set of skills. While a great all-rounder weapon, Nickmercs’ Call of Duty loadout is built to make it more effective for his style of play. This is the loadout that he uses:

Nickmercs Warzone Loadout M4A1

Nickmercs uses this blueprint, this only really changes the cosmetics but it does give you a specific Iron Sights. However, if you’re looking to recreate Nickmercs Call of Duty Loadout entirely, you’ll want to use this blueprint.

Nickmercs loadouts

This is the Gunsmith build that Nickmercs uses on his M4A1

  • Monolithic Suppressor – This increases damage but slows things down a bit.
  • M16 Grenadier – This extends your damage range, increases velocity, and control.
  • No Stock – No stock keeps things agile, accounting for the weaknesses of the rest of these attachments.
  • 60 Rounds Mags – This drops your ADS speed by not suing a stock evens this out.
  • Ranger Foregrip – This helps with recoil control, stability, and long-range accuracy.

The Gunsmith section of Nickmercs Call of Duty Loadout is built to compliment the way that he plays. Specifically, it increases the long-range potential of the M4A1 significantly. With this build, your damage radius is increased along with the amount of damage you deal at longer ranges. The biggest drawback of this is your ADS speed. Nickmercs’ Call of Duty loadout cleverly subverts this though. Using no stock allows you to get away with this compared to other loadouts.

Secondary Weapon

Nickmercs loadouts

The choice of RPG for the secondary weapon is a good example of Nickmercs playing to what is strong in the game’s metagame. The RPG is currently pretty well-valued thanks to a number of balancing updates. It won’t always be the most useful weapon, but at the moment the balance of the game rewards having some explosive power.

Cold-blooded and ghost are based around keeping your location quiet. The benefit of this is obvious, especially when they’re paired with a weapon that has been adjusted to do greater damage at a longer range.

This choice of perks also allows you to switch between weapons considerably faster. This is one of those moves that often makes Nickmercs stand out. While other players would continue spraying, he quickly switches things out.

These are great for both pushing and having a little defense. They work particularly well with his choice of perks.

Should You Use Nickmercs’ Warzone Loadout?

Nickmercs Call of Duty loadout is a very effective choice of equipment to match his specific skills. This is a loadout that pays attention to how the metagame has developed and uses it to its advantage. The choice of RPG gives you a crutch to fall back on. The other perks and tactical though are built to compliment the choice of Gunsmith attachments. When combined, these elements allow you to do more damage at a greater range, with more accuracy, and without having to worry about giving away your position or being ambushed. If Nickmercs style of play is something that appeals to you, then this is definitely the best loadout for you to use for an Assault Rifle.

NICKMERCS Reveals His Best Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth Island Loadout

By Richard Warren

Call of Duty: Warzone loadout expert NICKMERCS reveals another class setup, this time highlighting the two guns he uses for Rebirth Island.

While a majority of Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers sink all their time into Verdansk, some prefer the close quarters warfare of Rebirth Island. As such, while NICKMERCS usually bases his Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts around Verdansk, he has finally given fans of the smaller map some suggestions.

NICKMERCS lists the many strengths of the class in his video, citing how players will “move really fast” with the “fun.” setup. He also points out that it will give players a weapon for “any situation,” with his two gun choices being hugely different from one another. Showing off an impressive bit of gameplay footage with the two weapons, the video proves the worth of the gun pairing. While NICKMERCS being forced to play Rebirth due to Call of Duty: Warzone’s hackers and stream snipers is frustrating, at least this class sees something positive coming out of that situation.

The first weapon recommended by NICKMERCS is the KAR98k Sniper Rifle. The pro has previously claimed that it is his favorite Sniper in the game, with the FaZe co-owner sharing a loadout for the weapon in the past. While it may seem like a strange choice for the smaller Rebirth Island, the map does feature a lot of rooftops, windows, and long lines of sight. As such, being able to quickly switch to a Sniper in certain scenarios is beneficial, with NICKMERCS’ build only adding to the Kar98k’s strengths.

For the Muzzle, NICKMERCS suggests the ever-popular Monolithic Suppressor, with its damage boost and radar removal being too useful not to have. The Singuard Custom 27.6" Barrel is up next, and the streamer pairs this attachment with a Tac Laser for close quarters fights. A proper Sniper Scope makes ranged battles easier, while the FTAC Sport Comb Stock will help with movement. However, while this Call of Duty: Warzone loadout would be decent on its own, NICKMERCS also shows the gun that will accompany his Kar98k.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6"
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
  • Laser: Tac Laser

NICKMERCS recommends the XM4 Assault Rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, a weapon that has seen its popularity rise within the last several weeks. Unsurprisingly, he equips the gun with an Agency Suppressor, the Black Ops equivalent of a Monolithic Suppressor. He also suggests a Tiger Team Spotlight Laser and STANAG 60 Round magazine. Finally, he advises players to use the Microflex LED Optic and Raider Pad Stock for close quarters situations.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Ammo: STANAG 60 Round
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Raider Pad

With NICKMERCS proving that this is a great setup for Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island via his gameplay, fans should consider this build. With the Kar98k covering long-range battles and the XM4 helping with everything else, players are prepared for any encounter.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

NickMercs Reveals His Top Five Weapons In Apex Legends

According to NickMercs, he has a preferred loadout in Apex Legends. It was made clear that this is not a comprehensive inventory. This means that players cannot hold all the weapons at once, instead, they should pick them up if they see them.

The way NickMercs puts it:

"Obviously you can't pick up all five guns but these are five viable options that I rely on that I love. When I see them on the ground I'm like 'oh man I gotta put this in the inventory.'"

When the Wingman is equipped with the Boosted Loader Hop-Up, reloading times are shortened slightly in case the mag nears empty, and 2 rounds are added to it when reloaded.

To Quote NickMercs:

"Does about 45 a shot, closer to like 80 to the head... It's got some decent range on it. In close range you can kind of get away with it--It's kinda like a mini shotgun."

R-301 Carbine

The R-301 Carbine is an assault rifle that uses light rounds as ammunition.

To Quote NickMercs:

"Kind of like the M4 in Warzone. It's good anywhere, it's good all the time, it's good every time. You can put any kind of sight you want in the thing and have it be viable--you don't even need a crazy mag. Does a great amount of damage, a crazy fast rate of fire; a very, very, very, good gun to pair with a shotgun or even a sniper."

EVA 8 Auto

This shotgun utilizes shotgun shells and is fully automatic. The gun shoots nine pellets shaped like the number 8.

To Quote NickMercs:

"The best shotgun in the game by far in my opinion… Great close range."

Prowler Burst PDW

PDW (also known as Prowler SMG or Prowler Burst) uses heavy rounds to fire the Prowler Burst. The round is fired in bursts of five rounds.

To Quote NickMercs:

"Five-round burst close range submachine gun... It needs no introduction."

G7 Scout

G7 Scouts are semi-automatic marksman rifles that utilize Light Round ammunition.

To Quote NickMercs:

"Incredible to get tags with, you put a 4-8 sight on that and you're just bah bah bah bah, the whole game. I like having that, It's good damage, it helps me push teams out of positions, and helps me control the area that we're at. I really like the scout but even more for a positional tool."

I won't lie; this makes a lot of sense. These are some of the most versatile weapons in the game. Added to that, anyone can learn these and be successful with them. This list is great!

Loadouts nickmercs

Call of Duty: Warzone offers a gameplay experience fitting to its name. Even if you already consider yourself a decent CoD player due to your past experiences in the franchise, you may only be able to hold on for so long in Warzone.

Alongside combining the perfect battle royale experience with the core mechanics of each CoD title, the game has its own meta that you’ll need to closely follow to increase your odds of survival out in the field. Though there’s a little bit of chance involved when it comes to finding the guns you want while playing Warzone, knowing which guns work better than others will increase your awareness throughout the looting stage.

Experimenting with different loadouts will always be a good idea and practice will also get you better results. While following the meta is one thing, experimenting with new or tweaked weapons can also help you define the next trend. No one does the latter better than NICKMERCS since he has a habit of finding out the most overpowered loadouts by experimenting with almost everything in Warzone.

NICKMERCS has been a household name within the Warzone scene since the game’s release in 2020. Despite his fair share of favorite loadouts, NICKMERCS constantly experiments with new weapons and shares meta-defining builds on his YouTube channel. You can also catch him live on Twitch while trying out new builds.

Here are some of the best Warzone loadouts that NICKMERCS has showcased so far.

NICKMERC’S MAC-10 Warzone loadout

SMGs are quite powerful in CoD’s multiplayer modes due to the close-quarter nature of the maps, but picking up one in Warzone can leave you at a disadvantage when the circle collapses on areas that favor medium to long-range fights.

The MAC-10 was added to the game as a part of Black Ops Cold War season one. Just like most SMGs, the gun shreds through enemies at close range. But compared to other SMGs in the game, the MAC-10 has a higher DPS and can be easier to control if you have a stable aim.

Here are the attachments that NICKMERCS prefers on the MAC-10.

  • Muzzle Brake 9
  • 5.3″ Extended Barrel
  • Wire Stock
  • Patrol Grip
  • STANAG 53 Rnd Drum

It doesn’t matter how powerful the MAC-10 can be, it’ll always work better when it’s paired with a weapon that can cover long distances. If you already have a sniper on your squad, going with an assault rifle can be a safer choice.

Pairing your MAC-10 with a sniper rifle will make your overall loadout two-dimensional because you won’t have much to offer during hectic medium-range gunfights.

NICKMERCS’ Grau Warzone loadout

It’s hard to go wrong with an assault rifle in Warzone. It’s the most versatile weapon class in the game and ARs can shine at almost all ranges. If there was a popularity contest within the weapon class, however, the Grau would potentially win it.

NICKMERCS supports the Grau with attachments that nullify the weapon’s shortcomings.

  • Monolithic Suppressor
  • Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
  • Commando Foregrip
  • XRK Void II
  • 50 Round Mags

The extended magazine works wonders while taking out squads since reloading during a critical moment can also cause your demise. The suppressor will prove itself worthy in tight circles where you’ll be next to multiple enemy squads and pairing this weapon with an SMG can help you in short-range fights.

The Grau will be able to deal with enemies shooting from long and medium ranges with a decent scope, but you can also complete the loadout with a sniper depending on your squad’s weapon choice.

NICKMERCS usually completes the loadout with the Overkill perk and a Heartbeat Sensor alongside a C4 for his equipment.

NICKMERCS’ M4A1 Warzone loadout

The M4A1 may not be the best assault rifle in the game, but it’s definitely the most stable one. It doesn’t have any quirks or shortcoming that you need to deal with—it’s essentially a laser beam with no recoil.

The fact that it doesn’t have any notable recoil makes it an excellent choice to spray down enemies from afar. A sniper rifle and M4A1 combo is one of the most popular loadouts in the game, allowing you to finish off enemies with your M4 after you crack their armor with a sniper shot.

NICKMERCS prefers the following attachments when he runs an M4A1 loadout.

  • Monolithic Suppressor
  • Stock M16 Grenadier
  • Corp Combat Holo Sight
  • Commando Foregrip
  • 60 Round Mags

His attachment setup increases the gun’s overall accuracy and also makes it feel like it never runs out of bullets. If you already have a sniper on your team, you can use an SMG or a shotgun with your M4A1.

NICKMERCS mostly goes with a C4/Heartbeat Sensor equipment combination to complete his M4A1 setup. But you can make all the changes you see fit to make the loadout play just right for your style.

NICKMERCS’ RAM-7 Warzone loadout

All of the assault rifles in Warzone may have welcomed the RAM-7’s fall from grace, but it doesn’t look like it has any plans of going down without a fight. Statistically speaking, the RAM-7 still has the highest damage output out of all the assault rifles. It’s just challenging to look past its drastic recoil rate when it comes to medium-range fights.

Though the gun deletes enemies off the map as fast as an SMG, it’s tough to hit your shots from long distances, turning the gun into a liability in some cases.

NICKMERCS’ attachments for the RAM-7 try to reduce the gun’s recoil rate, but you’ll need decent aim to use the gun to its full potential.

  • Monolithic Suppressor
  • FSS Ranger
  • Corp Combat Holo Sight
  • Ranger Foregrip
  • 50 Round Mags

Pairing the RAM-7 with an SMG or a shotgun will generally be a good idea since you’ll be able to take long-range fights with your RAM-7. The key to staying accurate when shooting at far distances will be tapping the fire button instead of spraying, making the gun easier to control.

NICKMERCS’ Stoner 63 Warzone loadout

Compared to other guns in the game, light machine guns (LMGs) have always been in a weird spot. There are better alternatives that are stronger at whatever you’re trying to do with them, but nothing beats their gigantic mag sizes that can take out multiple squads. LMGs will be perfect for anyone who hates swapping out magazines—and the Stoner 63 is one of the better LMGs in Warzone.

One of the main drawbacks of the Stoner 63 is its range. LMGs need to excel at long-range fights since they mostly compete with assault rifles. NICKMERCS kits out his Stoner 63 with attachments that increase the gun’s overall range and make it more steady.

  • Infantry Compensator
  • 21.8″ Task Force
  • Visiontech 2x Optic
  • Field Agent Grip
  • SASR Jungle Grip

This setup will make the Stoner 63 more reliable in long-distance fights. Though LMGs can hold their own in close-quarters combat, pairing your Stoner 63 with an SMG or a shotgun can help take your loadout to the next level. If you also have a squadmate who has a sniper rifle equipped already, you’ll have nothing to worry about.

NICKMERCS usually completes his Stoner 63 loadout with E.O.D., Amped, and Overkill as perks. His usual choice for his second gun slot is the MAC-10, but any other SMG should also do the trick if you fail to find one around the map.

Follow NICKMERCS’ YouTube and Twitch channels to stay up-to-date with his new loadouts.

Given the size of his fan base, NICKMERCS’ loadouts can shift Warzone’s meta, so you can also expect a decent chunk of your enemies trying to build the latest NICKMERCS class in your next match. This means that taking out opponents will be as beneficial as focusing on looting while trying to get your hands on a NICKMERCS Warzone loadout.

What Is Nickmercs’ FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout?

The FFAR 1 assault rifle was one of the several new additions to the Warzone arsenal when the entire Black Ops Cold War arsenal was integrated into the battle royale.

Since it made its debut, the rifle quickly gained popularity on multiplayer alongside becoming one of the very best weapons to use in Warzone.

With the FFAR 1 a major part of the Season 2 metagame, popular Warzone streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes he has created the ultimate FFAR 1 loadout to dominate the opposition.

Find out his loadout for the FFAR 1 below!

NICKMERCS' FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout

Ever since the controversial DMR 14 tactical rifle receive hefty nerfs, the Warzone metagame has become stable and relatively balanced, with players using a variety of rifles that are all viable in a number of in-game scenarios.

While some pro players and streamers have opted to go for the CR-56 AMAX or the Kilo 141, NICKMERCS has selected the FFAR 1 as his go-to weapon when dropping into Verdansk.

Check out his attachment combination below:

  • Agency Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • 21.2” Ranger (Barrel)
  • Bruiser Grip (Underbarrel)
  • Salvo 50 Round Fast Mag (Ammunition)
  • Raider Stock (Stock)

While this combination of attachments reduces the overall accuracy of the FFAR 1, it does greatly improve damage and range, making it deadly in nearly every single close-quarters and mid-range engagement.

Its incredible fire rate makes the FFAR 1 a match for any SMG, and with the improved range, it’s a viable secondary weapon for those that use a sniper or marksman rifle.

Is It Good?

As a replacement for an SMG, this fully-equipped FFAR 1 is more than capable of dominating the close-quarters and mid-range metagame.

It can be used as a primary weapon but the lack of performance at extremely long distances lends itself to being the perfect crutch to fall back on if you get up close and personal with an opponent.

NICKMERCS showcases "best" AR loadout for Warzone Season 6

One of the most popular battle royale's on the market since it's release in March of 2020, Call of Duty: Warzoneis now all the way up to Season 6. The latest update brought massive changes to Verdansk as siesmic explosions have completely uncovered previously undiscoverable areas.

Of course, with any new season there are a number of weapons changes, including major buffs and nerfs to already existing firearms. With gamers looking to get a leg up on the competition, the new meta class loadouts are quickly being explored by top-level players.

Here is popular Call of Duty streamer NICKMERCS best AR loadout for Warzone Season 6.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 Best AR Loadout

NICKMERCS best AR loadout - Warzone Season 6

In a recent upload to his YouTube channel, NICKMERCS outlined his new AR loadout for Warzone season 6. To many gamers surprise, NICKMERCS AR of choice for Season 6 is actually one of the original ARs in the game.

Believe it or not, the "best AR of Season 6 Warzone" NICKMERCS is referring to is the CR-56 AMAX. While it's certainly does major damage with managable recoil and overall impressive mobility, it's certainly not the gun many would have guessed he was using.

Here's the exact loadout NICKMERCS has been using thus far in Warzone Season 6:

  • Barrel – XRK Zodiac S440
  • Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
  • Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
  • Optic – VLK 3.0m Optic
  • Ammunition – 45 Round Mags

Overall this is a great loadout for the CR-56 AMAX with enough speed and handling for close range fighting, while still carrying the game-changing power at mid and further ranges. The limited recoil should certainly aid in longer range gunfights, particularly paired with the VLK 3.0 Optic.
